Obituary of David Martin

June 4, 1945 - September 4, 2022

77 Years

On Sunday, September 4, David a loved husband, father, and papa passed away.

 

He is survived by his loving wife Murial “Bunny” Martin, who was by his side till the very end; three sons, whom he was very proud of Scott (Shawna), Clayton, and Dean (Gina); he was blessed with 5 beautiful grandchildren, Eric (Ashley), Emily, Rachel, Blake, Jovy; also, a beautiful great granddaughter Elle, and one on the way.

 

Dad was a very proud, strong, hardworking man.  He was no stranger to hard work.  He spent years running a cattle farm to provide a good life for his family.  He was also a skilled sheet metal worker in the plumbing and heating trade for over 40 years.  He spent the last 20 years with a true love for the north, running a fishing lodge on the beautiful McLennan Lake in Northern Saskatchewan, alongside mom.

 

Save us a seat on that final fishing hole…until we meet again. 

 

A Private Graveside Service will take place at the Rosthern Cemetery.
