Greetings from Ottawa! I was a Rosthern resident and hung around with David and Ronnie Martin until I left at age 13. For the most part we stayed out of trouble - no thanks to me! I came back to Rosthern when my grandpa Cliff MCLachlan died and the Rosthern Legion held a reception in his honour. David was the Legion President and spared no effort in ensuring it was a great occasion. I am forever grateful. My sincere condolences to all but in particular « Unkie », Dean and Gina who are good friends.
May he Rest In Peace

Our deepest condolences to the family. Don and I spent many Friday afternoons sharing laughs around the picnic table with Dave, where he shared many wonderful stories about his 'Bunny', his boys;(he was very proud of them); love of fishing, farming, and all the good times he had with family and friends! Rest in peace Dave, you will be missed! Don & Kathy
Sorry to hear of David's passing. I didnt know David's family, but I knew David, his mom and dad along with Ron and Allan his two brothers. We went to school together in Rosthern. Ron, I can still see you dancing to a local hit song in the class room. Ron you may remember when we took part together in school sports. Ron, you were a dependable friend. Allan wishing you well also. May Jesus comfort you all during this difficult time
