Jeannie was a wonderful friend! She could make anyone laugh! Her impersonations were so hilarious. She was a super leader of our Ladies Church Group. I have so many memories of Jeannie, Abe and Kevin.

Jean was one of my favourite people! She had such a warm smile, laugh & personality. I’m deeply sad to know that I won’t be able to visit with her again. I noticed many of the memories mention Jean as being a “great lady”. She REALLY was!! Many hugs to her family. Praying for you all! Barb Speiser
Our hearts are saddened by the news of Jeans passing. Our fondest memories are of the 10 years working with us at Landell Foods. Every morning we were greeted with her happy smile and then she was gone. There was no time for small talk, Jean had work to do. What a wonderful person she was. Never angered and always happy. I'm sure her last few years were very difficult. May the Good Lord find a special place for this very special woman..

My sincere condolences to Abe and family on Jean's passing. Shirley called me with the sad news this afternoon. I always enjoyed the visits we had when I would drop into Laird from time to time. It's been a few years since I last saw her so I didn't know about the serious health problems she was having. We spent most of our childhood living across the street from each other, so many of my memories of her go back to that time. Please take strength in knowing that those memories are all good ones and in the great person that she was. Take care.

Sorry to hear of Jean's passing. She was a great lady and I will always remember her from working at the store and seeing her at the Friesen home growing up.
