The news of Glenda’s passing shocked and saddened an entire Marketing team at FCL. From my day 1, Glenda was the first face to greet anyone coming into our department and right up until her retirement day, she continued to light up the whole floor with her smile and gentle demeanour. She was a wonderful friend to so many, me included. I loved sharing stories of Co-op and community in and around Liberty and Imperial where my family is also from. She always had stories about the grandkids latest sports and adventures and spoke often of how proud she was of her kids and the life they made for themselves. Glenda was part of our work family at FCL and we will miss her dearly. Please accept my sincere condolences and thank-you for sharing Glenda with all of us at Co-op for so many years. Leah Andrew

Glenda's sudden passing left me saddened. My experience with Glenda was at work where she was a kind and gentle person. Always gave her best and could be counted on to make the day better with gentleness and humor. A little shy but you knew where she stood. My thoughts go out to Auguste and family. Auguste and Glenda's smiles were the brightest when they were together.

I had the privilege of working with Glenda for several years. I have rarely in my entire life encountered a more positive and considerate person. I thought the absolute world of her. She brightened every room she entered and was unrelentingly thoughtful and supportive. I was heartbroken to hear of this news - I want to offer Glenda's family my sincere condolences and emphasize that she touched so, so many people in such a positive way and that really is an incredible legacy to leave. I worked with Glenda at FCL, a true friend to all her co-workers. She was genuine. Always had a smile. Took time to stop and chat. Never judged. Trustworthy. Thoughtful. Respectful. Courageous. Family and grandchildren were Glenda’s #1 priority. That immediate smile and glow that Glenda displayed when talking about her family radiated with so much love. We often shared stories and achievements of our little ones. No matter how dark the world is right now, Glenda’s light will continue to shine and guide you. And though the pain cuts deep within our hearts, it brings comfort and peace in knowing that Glenda is no longer in pain or worried or scared. It is those left behind that now suffer. Remembering "my big cousin" Glenda who had a big heart for her family and an optimistic yet down to earth approach to life. One just felt comfortable and at ease when visiting with her for she never needed to hide behind pretenses and neither did the company she was with. Auguste and family, may you find comfort in the loving memories you created together and strength in the love of your God, your extended family and your community!
