August 13, 1953 - April 24, 2023

69 Years

We are devastated to announce the sudden passing of David Charles Marsh on April 24, 2023, which occurred at his home, at the age of 69.

David was predeceased by his parents Edith and Robert Marsh. David leaves behind his beloved wife and soul mate of 46 years; Sheena (Dow), his son Keith (Daphne), daughter Laura; and his grandchildren whom he was so proud of, Samuel, Emily, and Dorothy. David also leaves behind his brothers Doug Marsh (Caroline), Paul Marsh (Lorna), and his brothers-in-law Cameron (Judy) Dow and Colin Dow. David also leaves behind his many friends and special co-workers that he enjoyed and bonded with.

David began his accounting career at Deloitte’s, Federated Coop and at the Legacy PCS Patience Lake and PCS Cory Potash Mines (Nutrien) for 23 years. Two years later, he started a position at Canola Development Commission as controller, up until the time of his sudden passing.

Dave had a love for rock music, golf, playing pool, and spent many hours playing cards with Sheena and friends.  He will always be remembered for his quick wit and dry humour.  He also loved to travel with the love of his life Sheena and Cam and Judy, with Mexico being his favourite place. One of the highlights of his week was his Saturday morning mimosa FaceTime calls also with Cam and Judy.

Dave was a wonderful man whom we cherished so very much and will be missed beyond words. At Dave’s request, there will be no service. There will be a celebration of his life to be announced at a later date.  We ask that you think of him when you hear your favourite rock song or are enjoying a beautiful day on the golf course.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation Saskatoon.”
