Douglas Herbert Knoll, age 75 years, passed away on August 9, 2022, at the Mennonite Nursing Home, Rosthern, SK.
Doug was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on December 17, 1946. He spent 53 years in Rosthern – a town he loved and served. He taught grades 7-9. He loved his job and his students. He was on many committees, on town council and was the mayor for many years.
Doug leaves to mourn his: wife, Marg Knoll; children, Kristin (Darwin) Schlichemeyer; Brett (Nicola) Knoll; 5 grandchildren, Dria (Travis), Braylen (Emily), Kendra (Jaxom), Teagan and Quyn; sisters, Sharon Brown, Verda (Rod) Tondevold, Cindi (Maurice) Schonhoffer, Lorna Knoll.
