June 11, 1956 – March 27, 2013 The death of Philip James “Irvin” Seeseequasis, age 56 years occurred at his residence in Duck Lake on March 27, 2013. Philip is survived by his family: wife, Lorna Seeseequasis (Cameron); mother, Susanne Seeseequasis; children, Nadine Pechawis, Miranda Pechawis (Travis), Ricky Pechawis (Nikki), Roxanne (Jason) More, Tanya Kahpeaysewat, Ronnie (Wanda) Wuttune; step-children, Monica Antoine, Kevin Cameron, Jason Cameron, Priscilla Pechawis, Shelley Pechawis; grandchildren, Leteisha, Keiran, Amanda, Lyndon; Brandon, Brandi, Brett Cameron; Cameron Antoine; Cody Cameron; Nikki Mike; Dominic More, Rider More; great grandchildren,Courage, Shererra; brothers, Carl (Bernic) Seeseequasis, Gilbert (Gina) Seeseequasis, Peter Seeseequasis; sisters, Mary (Les) Genereaux, Joanne Seeseequasis, Lori Seeseequasis; in-laws, Leona Cameron, Oliver & Ruth Cameron, Catherine (Cameron) Bear, Dave (Georgine) Cameron, Martin & Patsy Cameron, Joe (Noella) Cameron, Ellen (Darrell) Greyeyes, Clarence (Debbie) Cameron, Dale (Melissa) Cameron, Caroline Atcheynum; uncles, Ralph Gamble, George Gamble, Dave Gamble; aunt Betsy Gamble; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Gilbert Seeseequasis; brother, Earl Seeseequasis; in-laws, Fred and Agnes Cameron; daughter, Michelle Pechawis; granddaughter, Danelle Pechawis; aunts, Pauline Gamble and Margaret Felix; maternal grandparents, Philip and Veronique Gamble; and paternal grandparents, James and Mary Ann Seeseequasis. Wake Services were held March 28 – 30, 2013 and the Funeral Mass was held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Cuong Luong presiding. Pallbearers were Shane Gamble, Jason More, Warren B. Gamble, Lyndon Antoine, Collin Peeteetuce and Brandon Thomas. All services were held at the Cst. Robin Cameron Education Complex, Beardy’s and Okemasis First Nation. Cremation took place following the Funeral Mass. Arrangements were in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
