Obituary of Bertha Kroll

Bertha Kroll (nee Vey) passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the age of 96. She married the late Harvey Kroll in 1948 and they lived on a farm near Basin Lake. After Harvey’s passing in 2000, Bertha continued to live on the farm for another 6 years until she moved to Saskatoon. Bertha’s life revolved around her family (four loving children and their spouses, seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren) who she loved and adored and was fiercely protective of and loyal to. She was strong, determined, brave, and quick witted. A spotless house was very important to her. She was a great cook and an amazing baker. Bertha was a good curler and watched any televised game and in fact was waiting for a game to start when she passed. She loved to play cards, bingo, and a night out at the casino. She has left her family with many happy memories and will be the source of much laughter in the years to come. Rest In Peace dearest mom/nana - you lived a good life and certainly left your own special mark.
