Obituary of Jacob T. Loewen

December 10, 1927 – July 7, 2012 The death of Jacob T. Loewen, age 84 years of Rosthern occurred on July 7, 2012 at Rosthern Hospital. He is survived by his: son, Gerald (Caroline); daughter, Lorna (Mark) Behlow; daughter, Karen (Dave) Penner; grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Melita Bartel, John (Irmgard) Loewen, Wilma (Walter) Isaak, Werner (Beth) Loewen, Hedy (Art) Klassen; and sister-in-law, Amy Loewen. He was predeceased by his: wife, Therese; parents, Jacob and Katherina Loewen, 2 grandsons; brother, Peter Loewen, and brother-in-law, Henry Bartel. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Rosthern Mennonite Church. Interment will take place at Rosthern Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee – Community Sponsorship Program – 600-45th St., West, Saskatoon, SK S7L 5W9. Arrangements are in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern.
