Obituary of Joanne Napope

February 20, 1973 – September 7, 2013 The death of Joanne April Napope occurred Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, SK. She was 40 years old. She leaves to mourn her sons Troy Napope, Gordon Napope, Jonathan Napope, Vern Ermine and Scott Ermine; daughters Tracy Napope, Jordana Napope and Christie Napope; grandson Carter; father George A. Bighead Sr.; grandfather Gordon Bighead; sisters Arlene Napope; Tracey Head, Chastity Ermine and Natasha Ermine; and brothers Albert Hopcraft, Curtis Hopcraft, Alvin Napope, Darren Bighead, George Bighead Jr., Dexter Ermine, Gavin Ermine, Albert Ermine and Charlie Ermine. She was predeceased by her mother Lorna O. Napope; her grandparents Christie Bighead, Albert Napope and Annie Napope; and her daughter Brittany Ermine. Wake services will be held September 10, 2013 at the Sturgeon Lake Community Hall and September 11 – 13, 2013 at the Beardy’s Rec. Centre, Beardy’s & Okemasis First Nation. The Traditional Funeral Service will take place Friday, September 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beardy’s & Okemasis Rec. Centre, Beardy’s & Okemasis First Nation, SK.
