Obituary of Nadine George

June 28, 1949 – December 2, 2019 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and Baba. Nadine passed away at her home on December 2, 2019 with her husband Henry and daughter Charlene at her side. Nadine is survived by her husband Henry; daughter, Charlene Thompson (Mike); grandchildren, Benjamin and Alison Thompson; brother, Jules Klepak (Theresa); sister, Jean Thoms (Frank); sister-in-law; Shirley Klepak and numerous nieces and nephews. Nadine was predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Annie Klepak; brothers, Myron and John (Faye); sisters Mary, Edna (Andrew Wasylenko), Arlene (Mike Chalazan) and nephews Bruce Wasylenko and Brian Thoms. The family would like to express their gratitude for the messages of sympathy, flowers and visits and in particular the exceptional care and support provided by Dr. Adam Ogieglo and the other Doctors and staff at the Lakeside Medical Clinic. A viewing will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 at 7 PM at Funk’s Funeral Home, 1010 – 7th St. Rosthern, SK. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Mykola Romanets at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 501 – 4th Avenue, Rosthern, SK. Interment will take place in Sts.
