Obituary of Taras Wasylenko

November 20, 1945 – April 26, 2016 The death of Taras Wasylenko, age 70 years, occurred on April 26, 2016 in Rosthern, SK. He is survived by his sisters, Amelia Chipurda and Theresa (Jules) Klepak. He was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Mary Wasylenko; sister, Elsie (Maurice) Holuk; brother, Andrew (Edna) Wasylenko; nephew, Bruce Wasylenko; and brother-in-law, Alex Chipurda. A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at Funk’s Funeral Chapel, Rosthern, SK. The Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Church, St. Julien, SK with Fr. Patrick Powalinsky presiding.
