Obituary of Joseph Marchand

December 10, 1934 – June 1, 2014 The death of Joseph “Joe” Lucien Marchand, age 79 years of Duck Lake, Saskatchewan occurred on June 1, 2014 at Rosthern Hospital, Rosthern, SK. He leaves to mourn his family: wife, Gloria Marchand; children: Jeanette Marchand (Leonard Larocque); Lionel Marchand; Cheryl (Johnny) Hanikenne; Marlene Dumont (Ivan Doering); George Marchand (Jennifer Gervais); Tammy (Jason) Anderson; 24 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Grimard, Lillian Bisson; brothers, Sam Marchand, Roy Marchand; sister-in-law, Anne Marchand; brother-in-law, Bill Mindiuk and numerous nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his: parents, Alfred & Alexandra (nee St. Denis) Marchand; daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Marchand; sisters, Marie (Joe) Caron, Blanche Marchand, Rosaline Marchand (in infancy) and brothers, Clarence, Beverly (Annabelle), Alphonse, Franklin; sisters-in-law, Linda Marchand, Mary Sugar; brothers-in-law, Lucien Grimard, and Robert Bisson. The Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 7:30 P.M. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Cuong Luong on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. Both Services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Duck Lake, SK. Interment will take place in Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Cemetery, Duck Lake, SK.
