Obituary of Donald Miller

June 19, 1944 – January 30, 2014 Donald Isaac Miller was born on June 19, 1944 in Saskatoon, SK. to John and Gertrude (Remple) Miller, and we can only imagine the greeting that awaited his arrival in Heaven as he joined his parents at the age of 69 years. Donald passed away January 30, 2014, at Placsko Lodge, Waldheim. He was predeceased by his father in 1988 and his mother in 2000. Donald will be sadly missed by his sister Elsie & husband Cornie Wolfe and their children Lorna, Gord, Robert, Barb and Darcy and his brother Rueben Miller. He will also be remembered by friends & relatives who visited him at the various functions held in Waldheim, as well as his buddies at Placsko Lodge. A Memorial Service for Donald will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 2:30 P.M. at the Waldheim Mennonite Brethren Church Auditorium, 5003 2nd Ave East. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Menno Homes of Sask Inc. Box 195, Waldheim, SK S0K 4R0. Arrangements are in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern (306-232-5245).
