Obituary of Margaret Friesen

March 22, 1938 – February 25, 2017 Margaret was born on March 22, 1938. She was raised on a farm in the Laird area as part of a large family. She attended Tiefengrund School for a number of years and then helped out on the farm attending to chores and household duties. In 1978 she moved with her mother to Rosthern where she worked at Valley Action Industries and once again assisted her mom with house cleaning, buying groceries and getting the mail. In 1982 Margaret moved to the Nursing Home where she resided until her passing. She passed away on February 25, 2017 surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn, her brother Arnold (Helen), sister Doris, in-laws Goldie and Norman, nieces, nephews, as well as those she lived with and those who cared for her. Funeral service for Margaret will take place on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Tiefengrund Mennonite Church, northeast of Laird, SK. Interment will take place at Tiefengrund Cemetery.
