Obituary of Ruby Adrian

August 29, 1929 – April 7, 2020 Ruby Adrian (nee Ens) passed away peacefully on April 7, 2020 at the Rosthern Mennonite Nursing Home, at the age of 90. Ruby spent her life in the Waldheim area as part of the Zoar Mennonite Congregation, where she raised a family with her husband Arthur Adrian. She was predeceased by her husband Art and her brother Edwin Ens as well as sisters-in-law: Peggy Ens, Martha Ens and June Ens, and brother-in-law Peter Loewen. Ruby is survived by her children: Dorothy, Wesley (Sharon), Wayne (Terrie), Charlene (Terry), Valerie (Randy) and Gwendolyn; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; as well as her siblings: Bill (Mary), Orval, Dennis (Anne), Emery (Mary), Amy Loewen and Mavis. A private interment was held on April 9, 2020 at the Waldheim Cemetery. A future memorial service will be announced at a later date. Ruby’s senior years in Waldheim were filled with various volunteer activities for the Mennonite Central Committee. In lieu of flowers, donations to MCC, 600 45th Street West, Saskatoon, SK S7L 5W9 would be appreciated.
