Obituary of Harvey Thiessen

Sept. 15, 1953 – November 10, 2012 The death of Harvey Thiessen, age 59 years of Saskatoon occurred on November 10, 2012 at Royal University Hospital. He was born to his parents, Henry and Helen Thiessen at Rosthern Hospital. He received his education at Rosthern Public Schools and graduated at Rosthern Junior College. He worked in Saskatoon and Red Deer for Russell Metals for 25 years. He worked as a security guard until he got sick 3 and half years ago. Left to mourn his passing are: his close friend, Claudette Friesen; parents, two brothers, Gerald and his family and Allan (Chris) and his family; 4 nephews, one niece and numerous friends and relatives. A Celebration of Harvey’s Life will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Rosthern Mennonite Church with Pastor Craig Neufeld officiating. Arrangements are in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
