Obituary of Otto Kerber

September 18, 1932 – February 19, 2015 This farmer has plowed his last field. Otto Victor Kerber, age 82, passed away on Thursday February 19, 2015 at home. He is survived by his wife Shan, his son Greg (Ramona), and daughter Jenny (Alan). He is also survived by his sister Mildred of Saskatoon and brother Bill of El Sobrante, California. He spent his whole life as a farmer and got to celebrate his last birthday on September 18, 2014 enjoying a harvest supper in the field. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Mathilda (Markwart), his sister Alice, and sister-in-law Amparo. A time of viewing for family and friends will be held at Funk’s Funeral Home, Monday, February 23 at 7:30 P.M. The Funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rosthern with Rev. Sarah Dymund officiating. Interment will take place in Rosthern Cemetery.
