Obituary of Irene Markwart

March 15, 1918 – January 6, 2013 The death of Irene Markwart occurred at the Rosthern Hospital on Sunday, January 6, 2013. She is survived by her granddaughter Michele Weidner (Petri Vartiainen); great grandson Jesse (Jennifer) Vartiainen; son Winston (Magdalena) Markwart; grandson Andres Markwart; sisters-in-law Wanda Knoll and Elsie Knoll; and brother Robert (Marie) Knoll. She was predeceased by her husband Reinhold Markwart;daughter Sylvia Toop; sister Doris Pishke (Kirt Pishke); brothers Herb and Peter Knoll; and parents Fred and Linda Knoll. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Rosthern, SK with The Rev. Michael Diegel officiating. Interment will take place in the Rosthern Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
