Obituary of Evelyn LaRiviere

September 16, 1923 – September 5, 2012 The death of Evelyn, age 88 years of Rosthern occurred on September 5, 2012 after a brief courageous struggle with cancer at Rosthern Hospital. She is survived by her: daughter, Denise (Bev) Hinz; son, Jack LaRiviere; daughter Rita LaRiviere; grandchildren, Kathy (Barry) Moorman, Vanessa Hinz; great grandchildren, Wrenn Moorman, Lise-Andra Moorman; great great grandchildren, Kristalyn and Lucas Moorman; and sister, Florence Diehl. She was predeceased by her husband: Louis LaRiviere in 1987; parents, Paul and Clara Verreault; two children, Leo and Therese and thirteen siblings. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Very Rev. Maurice Fiolleau (Vicar General) and Rev. Cuong Luong on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Odilon Roman Catholic Church, Rosthern, SK. Burial of ashes will take place at Memorial Gardens, Prince Albert, SK. Arrangements are in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
