Obituary of Katrina Martens

July 14, 1926 – May 5, 2016 With much sadness we announce the death of Katrina (Katie) Martens, age 89 years, at her home at Sunshine Housing, Hague, SK. Katie is survived by several sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends at Sunshine Housing. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Annie (Dyck) Martens; and all her siblings. Katie was a resident of Sunshine Housing for the past 27 years. She will be sadly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. at Funk’s Funeral Chapel, 1010 – 7th Street, Rosthern. Interment of her ashes will take place at a later date at Pleasant Point Mennonite Church Cemetery.
