Dear Jake, Grace and Ernest. We are sure your sense of loss must be enormous these days. We are praying that the Lord Jesus will comfort your hearts . We know Mom has had a great influence in many people’s lives, including ours. We praise the Lord for bringing her into our lives while we were living in PA. Mom didn’t seem to change from when we first knew her in the early 60s while in missions training together with NTM . Then it was at the 1981 Waldheim missions conference that we were privileged to be reunited with Mom. What a wonderful blessing that turned out to be including getting to know your whole family. During those years Mom’s garden produce was often a gift from the Lord to us, such a great blessing !! Looking back we also recall Mom’s enthusiastic laughing during the many winter evenings we spent together playing table games at the farm. We have always praised our wonderful Lord for the joy she and you all brought into our lives .. Yes, Mom’s was a life well spent. It was focused on the Lord and others both at home and abroad . For sure her influence will continue to be felt well into the future ! However,these days we will be praying for you as a family because your Mom will be greatly missed by you all for sure !!
