Obituary of Brian Gamble

Nov. 4, 1959 – Jan. 16, 2018 58 years Brian Lloyd Gamble, of Paddockwood, passed away on January 16, 2018, at the age of 58, after a battle with cancer. Brian was born to Francis and Alice Gamble, and was raised with 14 siblings. He went on to have 7 children of his own. Brian learned the meaning of a hard day’s work at a young age, securing his first job at the age of 15 years. He was a jack-of-all-trades throughout his life and did whatever it took to provide for himself and his family. For many years, he was a carpenter, a bouncer in the bars, and a musician. He was fortunate to have travelled throughout Canada with his band. After years of being on the road, Brian settled in Prince Albert and made his living repairing, buying and selling vehicles and hauling scrap metal; which he did right up until his passing. Throughout the years, Brian maintained his passion for demolition derbies and horse racing. He was especially proud when his children, including the girls, took over the driving in both of these activities. In his short life, Brian met alot of people throughout his travels and his business dealings. He is survived by many, many friends and a large family. Thank you to everyone who has offered their support and condolences to the family.
