Your Mom was very important to the Sask Valley Music Festival where you have sponsored a trophy and scholarship for piano 12 years and under. Many recipients have appreciated it over the years including our daughter Michelle Swab back in the 90s. I was proud to think I knew your Mom, but realize from this obituary that there was much more to her than I was aware.

To my friends, the Hoogie family, my sincere condolences on the passing of your Mom and Oma. I enjoyed the visits I had with her over the years, a little bit here and then so many of her family have been such good friends to me. Hopefully I will get to her memorial, when the time comes. Love You All…♥️

Our condolences to the Hooge family. Your Mom was a remarkable, talented woman and you were so blessed to have her in your lives for so long. I took piano lessons from her when I was teaching in Rosthern. Tina was so honest and indicated that I might have been successful had I started 20 years before. LOL, she was so honest. I played at the piano recital with the five and six year olds and they were better than I was. On the plus side, she always shared her baking or soup with me. I remember her with fondness and laughter. Frances and Keith Burnham
