Obituary of Gregory Martens

November 21, 1956 – August 10, 2012 The death of Gregory Martens, age 55 years, occurred on August 10, 2012 at Rosthern Hospital. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Penny Martens; daughter Mandy (Dean) Heidt; son Corey (Jennifer) Martens; grandchildren Gavin and Kaiya Martens; mother-in-law Jean Desjardins; brother-in-law Wayne (Pattie) Desjardins; sister-in-law Nichole Desjardins; niece Janelle (Tyson) Skoro; and nephew Justin Desjardins. He was predeceased by his parents John and Anne Martens; and father-in-law Edward Desjardins. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Rosthern Mennonite Church with Rev. Rudy Froese officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Saskatoon Cancer Centre, 20 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 4H4. Interment will take place in the Rosthern Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
