Obituary of Shauna Rose Fehr

April 17, 1973 – September 4, 2016 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shauna Fehr. She entered into her eternal peace on Sunday, September 4, 2016, as the sun set, at the tender age of 43. Shauna was born on April 17, 1973 in Saskatoon. She attended John Lake, Sutherland and Forest Grove Elementary Schools, and she graduated from Evan Hardy Collegiate in 1991. Shauna’s love of family and friends shone through in all she did. She became a mom at a young age and worked hard to provide all she could for both of her children. Alex and Avery were her entire life. She was their biggest supporter and most dedicated fan. With Alex in softball and Avery in dance and drama, Shauna’s pride was always evident. Her encouragement for them to always do their best and to be happy still rang through at the end when her last thoughts were of her children and all of their successes. Shauna was a dedicated employee at Telus Health for the last 12 years. It was through her job that Jamaica became her second home. She was fortunate enough to visit there many times, making life-long friends. Shauna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Frieda Kreiter; Clay’s grandfather, Alex; and her Jamaican “brother”, Howard “Chino” Baker. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving husband of 22 years, Clayton; son, Alex; daughter, Avery; mother, Sharon Morley (Gord); twin sister, Sheena Galaura (Tim Pasternak); “favorite” nephews, Jayce and Jayvn Galaura; Clay’s family; mom Deb, Grandma Joyce, brother Curtis and uncle Rick; uncles, Wayne Kreiter (Monica), Herb Kreiter (Dianne), Lyle Kreiter; cousins, Myles Kreiter, Andrea Lesanko (Scott); the family dog, Tuukka; and many friends. A celebration of Shauna’s life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Zion Lutheran Church (323 4th Avenue South, Saskatoon, SK). In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice or to Augustana Lutheran Church.
