Rick was known for his generosity and humor. Perhaps because he knew and worked with people from many walks of life he developed an appreciation of others.
Starting at a very young age he worked in agriculture, including a full summer at an Uncle's grain and dairy farm. Part time at Safeway while in high school. Then working for a railroad, a culvert manufacturer, then in a sawmill in Quesnel B.C. Finally going back to school to become a CPA.
He may have lucked out by marrying Karla, an amazing person and medical doctor. They were a great team.
He will be remembered for his respect and affection for his family and many friends.
Gale Boldt, a brother.
