Obituary of George Sawatsky

January 12, 1943 – June 28, 2017 The death of George Sawatsky, age 74 years, occurred on June 28, 2017, at Rosthern Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Joan Peters; his daughters, Lorna (Joe) Rudnicki and Wanda (Gary) Slonski; grandchildren, Kris, Kyle (Jenn), Kassidy (Mitch) Newman, Amber (Myles) Dunkley, Bailey (Kyle) Andrews; great-grandchildren, Madison, Emery, Annika, Logan & Blair. The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 2:00 P.M., at Rosthern Mennonite Church, Rosthern, SK. Interment of ashes will take place at Rosthern Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the Sask Valley Hospital Foundation Inc., Box 93, Rosthern, SK S0K 3R0.
