Dear Ruth: Thelma and me send our condolences on the passing of Oliver. Alana Simard of Manigotagan wishes to send a card. What is your mailing address? Thank you.
Condolences to Ruth and all the Heppner Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am very grateful for the Special times that I shared with Oliver and Hulda . They were very Special to me when I lived in Saskatoon. They welcomed me into their home. They were like parents to me. Their home was my second home . Loretta, Val and Mike welcomed me into their Family as well. Big Hugs to the Family. May God Bless you. Go rest upon that mountain my Friend.
Dear Ruth and family: May you experience comfort from the God of all comfort. May you find joy and hope in the good memories. Gladys & Henry Block, Winnipeg
Sorry to hear of Oliver’s passing. I’ll remember his smile & the twinkle in his eye. I last saw him at the Saskatoon Auction Mart. We talked about horses and chickens. Many good memories of days on the farm at Swift Current. All the best to you, Mike, Val & Loretta & your families. Rhonda
I am grateful for Oliver’s life, and for the considerable and formative influence he had on my Christian walk when I was one of his students at the Swift Current Bible Institute (SCBI). The manner in which I perceived he lived as a disciple of Jesus, and the course he taught on the Old Testament prophets was – and remains – a touchstone for how I have purposed to live as a disciple of Jesus.
My dear friend Ruth, I am sorry to read that Oliver has passed away. I will always remember him as a gentle, kind, happy man with a friendly smile. So glad that I had the opportunity to have you and Oliver for my next door neighbors. You are in my prayers. God bless you. Irene
