Q: How did you meet Darrell?
A: I knew Darrell by knowing his brother Gary when I was in school. We went camping in BC at Manning Park in the 80's and I also visited him again in Winnipeg when they moved to support their mother back in the mid 80's. He was a reliable, kind and caring friend who had a penchant on being a perfectionist. I would often see him working on his garden and yard in his teens and I can see why he went on to having a successful landscaping business. I'm so sorry to hear about his passing and send my prayers and condolences to his family. I have many fond memories of Darrell and he will be greatly missed.
Sending my condolences and prayers to all of Darrell's family and friend's. I got to know Darrell when
my boys and I lived down the street from him and his 2 precious girls. He was a kind and caring person. He was talented singer and playing music. I always enjoyed his excitment about where and what he was going to plant in his amazing backyard oasis. Many memories where made! Favorite being our love for the Lord! Miss you Darrell!
I just found out about cousin Darrells passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Darrell was one of my favorite cousins. I tried to reconnect over the years searching endlessly to see if I could find any of you on Facebook. I have so many wonderful memories of all of you. Darrell was one of a kind. Great sense of humour and such a wonderful soul. Loved his faith in God. If anyone would like to get in touch with his cousins please reach out. I understand Auntie Ella is still in contact with our cousin Tammy. We are all still in Vernon and we are all still under Briggs.
