Orval was a dear friend and mentor who will be deeply missed. We attended church together for many years and met for bible study during the winter months. He encouraged us to join the Gideons. Orval had a servant’s heart and served on the church board for many years. He taught Blaine in Grade 8 at Cut Knife Elementary School and was the principal when our children attended the same school. He and Martha would come to the rink to watch our son play hockey in the winter. Orval could talk to anyone anywhere. Even after he moved to Swift Current, he would stay in touch by giving us a phone call. He always enjoyed catching up on the news from church and in the community. We are thankful Orval is no longer suffering and has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior. We look forward to being reunited with him and Martha one day. Our deepest sympathy to Randy and Delores and their family.
