Obituary of Leonard Baun

April 29, 1937 - May 7, 2024

87 Years

 

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the peaceful passing of Leonard Baun, of Hague on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the age of 87.

Leonard will be greatly missed by his loving wife Tena of 63 years; daughter Wendy (Darrell) Penner; son Warren (Coralie) Baun;  grandchildren & great Grandchildren Shawn (Sally) Emmett & Greysen; Brent; Jeffrey; Brandon (Savanah) Brooklynn & Blakeley; Kelcey (Colton) Blair & Olivia; Kayley, Ty & Tristyn;  sisters Janet (Jack) Holben, Deanna (Al) Watt; brother Ken (Shirley) Baun; and brother-in-law Henry Fehr.

Leonard was predeceased by his parents Alex and Leah Baun, brother Lorne (sister-in-law Margaret) Baun, sisters Carol Fehr, and Grace (brother-in-law George) Siemens.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Royal University Hospital 6200 for their care and compassion. 

Memorial donations may be made to Sask Valley Hospital Foundation, Box 93 Rosthern, SK S0K 3R0. Arrangements in care of Funk's Funeral Home, Rosthern. 

A come and go memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Leonard Baun

will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024

from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

at the Hague Municipal Hall - 212 Main Street, Hague, SK.
