My condolences to you Annette and your family . Julien and I go way back. We worked, laughed, got tight and dated together. We was like a big brother. He will be missed. I always looked forward to getting together over coffee when I returned to Sask. I was returning from Mexico. I would have been there.

My husband and I were given the honour and the privilege to meet this wonderful man during the last months of his life. We shared a hospital room with Julien and his family at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon just prior to his move to the Hospice at Glengarda. It became obvious very quickly what a kind and giving person Julien was. He shared his chocolate, his sister Rose’s delicious puff wheat cake, but more than these kind and giving gestures, Julien shared himself. He always had a smile, or a silly joke to share. We were struck by his deep love of family and his abiding, unfailing faith. Annette, Luc, Monique & Joel, he was indeed, one of the best. We were given but a small glimpse of this beautiful man you shared a life with. You will miss him terribly but remember him with smiles.Godspeed Julien

Annette and Family
We were sorry to hear about the passing of Julien. We offer you our sympathy and prayers.
We will always remember when Julien pulled us out of the ditch with his tractor one winter day in 1966. We were coming to Duck Lake from the Laroque Farm and slid in the ditch close to your farm. Adolphe went for help and Julien came out with his tractor. He wouldn't accept any money for his good deed. Just a smile and a chuckle and wished us on our way. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Our deepest sympathies. Heaven has gained another wonderful angel but this one certainly has a sense of humour that he willingly shared with everyone. It was nice to meet him at the stores in the city where he would gently run into your cart and we would visit for a short (1/2 hour or more) while. You will be missed by many.

We will miss uncle Julien very much.
I idealized this man to the point where I wanted to be just like him. Julien always had a wicked sense of humour that we all know has blended down into Luke, Monique and Joel like a hereditary spell.
When I visited him in the hospital, the nurse came into the room and asked him how much gas he was having? He quickly answered, I should have enough to get to Prince Albert.
Our condolences to his entire family, God bless his soul.
Love Vince & Cheryl Gauthier.

Uncle Julien will be missed by many. I have many fond memories of him but one that will always be filed in my memory is when his family and my family (Gauthier’s) met at uncle Paul Savidan’s in Hoey, where uncle Julien, as a non swimmer, decided in his infinite wisdom to dive into the deep end of the pool. I realized soon enough that uncle was struggling and could not get to where he could have his head above water. I was nearest to him, so I reached for him and pulled him to “safety”. He regained his humour quickly. Love you uncle. /Colette

Sending our deepest sympathies to Auntie Annette and the families on the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. I have many fond memories of family gatherings held on the Pelletier farm where Uncle Julien and Aunty Annette quite often opened their home to so many family and friends where food, fun and laughs were shared by all! Rest in peace uncle Julien! Sincerely John and Marcella
