February 8, 1948 - January 1, 2024

Arthur Edward Neufeld passed away peacefully on January 1, 2024, at the Rosthern Hospital with his family lovingly by his side. He was 75 years old.

Arthur (Art) was born on February 8, 1948, to Edward and Lillian Neufeld in Carrot River, SK.  In his earlier years, they moved to Rosthern where he was always finding ways to make a little bit of money, whether it was raising rabbits to working in the Rosthern Bakery. He also spent a lot of time at the rink and would even help to paint the lines. At age 16, Art left home and began hauling logs in B.C. and did construction throughout western Canada.

On September 11, 1976, he married Lorraine Bergen and they settled on a farm outside Duck Lake, SK. Art and Lorraine continued the farm life until they retired and moved to Rosthern in September 2015.  Art always enjoyed playing cards, visiting, sports, going for coffee, quadding and taking the 5th wheel camper on an adventure. He was well known for his sense of humor, his smile, and his ability to make people laugh.

Arthur is survived by his: wife Lorraine Neufeld; son Cordell Neufeld (Tina Schreiner) and family Jordin, Aydin, and Shelby; daughter Cyrie Neufeld (Neil Brown); siblings, Marion Neudorf, Pat (Don) Reimer, Stan (Patty) Neufeld, Debbie (Ken) Thiessen, Betty (Larry) Fiolleau, Russ (Angie) Neufeld, and Brad (Teri) Neufeld; and step-siblings Evan and Linda.

He was predeceased by his: parents Edward & Lillian Neufeld, granddaughter Sky Neufeld, brother-in-law Harvey Neudorf, and step-mother Leona Neufeld.
