Obituary of Victor Theriault

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ghyslain Victor Theriault. Vic passed away peacefully on December 20, 2023. He was born in Depuis, Quebec Abitibi on July 3, 1937.

He was predeceased by his father Charles Theriault, mother Jeanue - D’arc Duran, and brother-in-law Jean Claude Tremblay.

Vic is survived by his wife Rose; sons Michel Theriault and Alain Theriault; grandchildren: Vanessa (Scott), Rachelle, Sabrina, Heather; sister Nicole Theriault; and brother Yvan Theriault (Suzanne).

Vic loved the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and travelling. The spirited, gutsy adventure continued as a Pilot. Vic made Rosthern home. Set in his ways …. became friends with many. Vic was loved and he will be missed.

A viewing will be held at the church before the Funeral Mass from 9:30-10:30 A.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Michael Fahlman on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Odilon Roman Catholic Church, 3004 Saskatchewan Street, Rosthern, SK.

Cremation will be held following the Funeral Mass, and the interment of ashes will take place at a later date at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens, SK.
