Obituary of Miriam Sawatzky

February 5, 1937 - November 17, 2023

86 Years

Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Miriam Elizabeth (Block) Sawatzky, age 86 years, of Waldheim, SK, went to be with her Lord on November 17, 2023.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children; Sherry (Bob) Willems of Waldheim, SK, Charlene (Chester) Wiebe of Grand Forks, BC, Michelle (Calvin) Fong of Saskatoon, SK, daughter-in-law Grace Sawatzky of Warman, SK; 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years David Sawatzky in 2017, son Darrell Sawatzky in 2010, parents Henry & Anna (Derksen) Block.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Rosthern Hospital for their wonderful care during her time there as well as the neighbours and community members who have supported us with prayer and meals.
