Obituary of Jerry Blocha

May 10, 1934 - August 31, 2023

Our beloved father, Jerry Blocha, passed away to join the Lord on August 31^st. It is with great comfort to know he is now with our mother in heaven in a joyful reunion.

Jerry Blocha was born outside of Rosthern SK on May 10, 1934. He was a kind and thoughtful man, and he emphasized hard work throughout his life. He proudly worked for CN Rail for 38 years in The Pas, MB. Along with his loving wife, Marjorie, they raised three children Sharon, Patricia, and Doug. As life events occurred, Jerry returned to live in Rosthern in 1992 to be closer to his roots growing up in the rural Saskatchewan town of his birth. Jerry enjoyed gardening, his daily walks, and greeting neighbors and friends. For those that knew him well, he had a generous and compassionate heart.

Jerry is survived by daughters Sharon Blocha and grandson Nolan; Patricia (Doug) Laurence and granddaughter Natalie; son Douglas Blocha; sister Betty (Joe) Pindera and sister-in-law Mabel Blocha.

A Private Graveside will be held September 2023 at Rosthern Cemetery.

Our Dad will be dearly missed.
