Condolences to Yvette’s Family. She Loved You All and always spoke about her nieces n nephews. Had a lot of laughs with her. and I had great respect for her. She taught me a lot at Goodwill manor. She was an awesome Nurse and showed so much compassion to the Residents May She R.I.P.

Yvette was a mentor for many, (myself included), in Duck Lake attaining the Special Care Aide certification, and go on to work at the Goodwill Manor. Residents benefited from her high standards and expertise in providing the best health care. RIP Yvette.

En 1965 lorsque je suis rentré à l école d infirmières à Prince Albert, j'ai eu la chance d'avoir Yvette Gareau comme "big sister". Nous ne sommes pas revus depuis cette époque,mais je me souviens de sa gentillesse et sa discrétion. J'espère qu'elle a pu continuer à répandre sa bonne humeur dans sa vie professionnelle et privée. Our condolences to Yvette’s siblings. She was my special friend. Both of us retired about 20 years ago and has lots of free time. We taught catechism as a team children’s faith building was very important to us. We spent many hours in her solarium and my deck drinking pots of coffee and chatting. At times we enjoyed a beer or glass of wine and a good laugh! We celebrated our birthdays, as we were the same age for 6 days. We went out for a special meal every year to celebrate getting older! Many years ago Yvette gave me a booklet “ Everyone’s way of the Cross” which is very precious to me. I read it daily during lent. I also read it while Yvette was passing away. God bless her soul! I will miss her for now but we will join her when it’s our time to go. Love and prayers Thanks Ron for keeping in touch, you’re a very special brother! Marge DeBray

Dear Yvette,saying goodbye this soon feels wrong. So instead, I'll just say 'I love you' and know you are with me always. To you Yvette, who helped shaped me into the person I am today. Thank you for being the friend and confidante I needed in a time of change and growth. Your passing came too soon. I hope you are at peace. I miss you. Tell me, what does it look like in heaven? Is it peaceful? Is it free like they say? Does the sun shine bright forever? Have your fears and your pain gone away? 'Cause here on Earth it feels like everything good is missing since you left and here on Earth, everything's different. There's an emptiness. I hope you're dancing in the sky and I hope you're singing in the angel's choir and I hope the angels know what they have. I'll bet it's so nice up in Heaven since you arrived and Heaven gained quite the angel when you left us. Forever love Tien Luong.
