Obituary of Jake Willems
June 26, 1931 - May 13, 2023
Dad joined mom in heaven when he passed away early in the morning on Saturday, May 13th at the Mennonite Nursing Home, Rosthern. Jake leaves behind his sister Mary Willems, son and daughter-in-law Brad and Janice Willems, his favorite grandson Pastor Matt and Emily Willems, two great-grandchildren Nathaniel and Samuel, and his favorite granddaughter, Dr. Jamie Willems.
Dad is predeceased by his wife, Rose Willems; his parents Henrich and Mary Willems (Schmidt); siblings, Henry Willems, Nick Willems, Anne Willems and Frank Willems.
We want to especially thank the nursing home for their compassionate care for Dad during the past difficult three years.
An evening viewing will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 7:00 p.m at Funk’s Funeral Home, 1010 7th Street, Rosthern, SK.
Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Waldheim Mennonite Brethren Church, 5003 2nd Avenue East, Waldheim, SK.
