We mourn the physical loss of my Mom, Lorraine Lenore Heinbigner. She was the second child of three, born to Samuel and Mary Heinbigner.
Mom worked in restaurants and most of her life she spent loving and caring for her two boys. She always loved us and made many sacrifices to ensure we were well cared for. She did all a loving Mother could do.
Mom also loved animals, raising, and caring for them for many years. She also loved growing flowers and other plants; her favorite being red roses. However, her favorite color was blue.
She was diagnosed with a terminal cancer, late February of 2023.
Mom was in palliative care at the Hospice at Glengarda in Saskatoon, where she was greatly cared for, until her passing on April 13, 2023. She passed away peacefully with her son by her side.
Mom will be dearly missed and free of suffering. She will be always in our hearts and thoughts. May she rest in peace and be comforted by our Lord.
We the family, want to thank: our family Doctor Brad Sperling, and all the doctors, nurses, support staff, client care coordinators, pharmacists, social workers, spiritual care and healing arts professionals at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, and the Hospice at Glengarda.
