Our heartfelt condolences to the family. We had a great visit with Clayton in August 2021 when he drove to his Mom’s to deliver us some amazing honey. We talked everything from honey to politics, and Clayton was passionate about all of it. May he rest in peace and please know we care.
Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Clayton?
A: He was completely himself. What you see is what you get with him. He made you laugh and he was always there for a good time.
Clayton and I were first cousins and grew up in the same little town and although I hadn’t seen him in some years I reconnected with him on Facebook. We had a few chats about curing bacon and he gave me his perfected recipe for making it. I will always think of him when I make some. I so enjoyed his posts about bees, beer brewing, meat processing to his saw cutting and road building. Nothing seemed to be beyond his capabilities with some research and hard work. Rest easy Clayton.
