Obituary of Frances "Fran" Sobkowicz

The peaceful passing of Fran Sobkowicz, age 84 years, occurred on January 23, 2023, at the Mennonite Nursing Home, Rosthern, SK.

Fran is survived by her son Kim (Kim) Sobkowicz; daughter-in-law Jennie M. Sobkowicz; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Veronica and Craig Weinert (Emerson and Kinley), Vanessa and Garret Atkins (Walker), Taylor and Ian Paulson (Kippan and William), Tanner and Kelli Sobkowicz (Leo and Tate), Teal Sobkowicz and Kenzie Lucas; siblings, Gloria (Don) Nakonechny, and Dwayne (Barb) Leskewitch.

She was predeceased by her husband Eddie Sobkowicz; son Glenn Sobkowicz; daughter Charlene (Ron) Burlack; and sister Olga (Ken) Elliott.

A Celebration of Life for Fran will take place Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Odilon Roman Catholic Church, Rosthern, SK.

Interment of her ashes will take place in Rosthern Cemetery followed by lunch at the church. Memorial Donations can be made in Fran’s name to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550-12^th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
