Obituary of Winnie Walduda

100 Years

It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Ludwina “Winnie” Walduda on January 3, 2023, with her family by her side, 25 days shy of her 101^st birthday. She was born January 28, 1922, in Arma, SK to Wawro and Alexandra Dmytrowich.

She is survived by her 5 daughters, Adeline Brychun, Carol Lucko, Linda Sargent (Dave), Kim Looman (Andrew), Roxanne Caudle (Percy); 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; brother Carl (Mary) Dmytrowich; sisters, Helen Coxford and Tracey (Johnny) Pozniak.

She was predeceased by her parents, Wawro and Alexandra (Blocka) Dmytrowich, husband Esidor Walduda; grandson Sean Fossenier, great granddaughter Shantelle Nabozniak; brothers, Nick (Julie) Dmytrowich, Bill (Sally) Dmytrowich; sisters, Mary (Dan) Mukanik, Millie (Steve) Kawcuniak; sons-in-law, Frank Fossenier, Donny Brychun, Mervin Stenbec, and Stan Lucko.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. at Ss. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Rosthern, SK.  Interment will follow at Ss. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
