Caleb was a hero to his youth boys. He was just what those crazy young boys needed in a youth leader. Every week he showed up with huge amounts of energy and patience to serve them. He was a faithful husband to Hannah and it was a joy to see their relationship mature. He was always kind, patient and gentle with her — making her feel loved and seen. Caleb was endlessly helpful to us and our family. From cheering like a maniac at my kids games, lending us tools, fixing our vehicle, doors and bathroom counter, there was nothing Caleb wouldn’t do to serve us. We are heartbroken at his loss and miss him immensely. I’m so thankful for Gods grace and his welcome of Caleb to his forever home. We will continue to pray faithfully for his wife and loved ones.

One of my favourite memories of Caleb was when I was pregnant with Eberley and we had an appointment where they couldn’t find a heartbeat. Shortly after this appointment we had youth group. We were there for the leaders meeting and I shared. Caleb placed hands on me and prayed with such passion. Another memory is when Eberley was born (happy and healthy might I add) I struggled with anxiety and feelings of being a bad mom. Caleb took it upon himself to message me every few days encouraging me and praying for me. He truly impacted my life for the better. Caleb, you were so loved.. you will be missed.

We are sorry very sorry to hear of your loss; our hearts go out to your whole family! We easily recall Caleb's energetic, kind and joy-filled anecdotes as a 10-11 year old boy when we had the privilege of visiting the family in Mexico City. I believe it was Caleb that invented a marvelous right-side mechanical arm idea to greatly enhance the Mexican driving experience... especially for those single drivers.
