Today we found out that we had lost a past neighbor of ours that became a true friend that we thought of the same way as we feel about our own family members. Evangeline was truly a wonderful lady that valued life and she was so proud of her children, Grand Children and Great Grand Children. We would often sit with her and Pete on their or our deck and many times we were treated to treats that Evangeline had baked up earlier. She had a passion for baking and cooking and and was a master at both. Evangeline was always very considerate and thoughtful for others and as I was often away on overnight business trips Evangeline would always come over and see if Brenda was ok and they would have a little chat. Even if Brenda was 15 years younger than Evangeline and in good health it was simply Evangeline looking out for others and that is who she was. Although we had moved to Alberta and away from her and Pete we stayed in touch with them and visited them each spring until covid came and changed our ways.. We will always remember Evangeline and know that she will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Pete and the family and we know that the love you have for each other will help you through these difficult times. R.I.P Evangeline. Love Brenda and Wayne
