Obituary of Omer Como

March 14, 1934 – February 8, 2021 On Monday, February 8th, 2021, Omer Raymond Como, loving husband and father of three, passed away at the age of 86. Omer was born on March 14, 1934, in Rosthern, SK to Pierre and Clara Como. He was born and raised on the Century Family farm in the La Plaine area where he and his loving wife of almost 62 years, Laurine Boyer, farmed and raised their three children Brian, Brenda, and Brant. Omer always enjoyed the farming lifestyle. He was a John Deere man, taking tours of the John Deere factory and relishing in the history and innovation of his favourite tractors and equipment. He also enjoyed frequent family trips, travelling to warmer climates, listening to live country music, and spending quality time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. With his quiet nature, you were never quite prepared for his quick wit and infectious laugh. He always had a story to tell. Omer is survived by: Loving wife Laurine Son: Brian Como -Brian’s children: Dale Como and Katie, Deegan, and Ryder Darren (Amaranta) Como and Aidyn – Brian’s partner Emie Lim and her children John, Angelika, and Chloe Lim Daughter: Brenda (Eugene) Hrycuik – children: Crystal (Dave) Como and Hendrik Ashley (Mick) Hrycuik and Ivy and Fallyn Bonnie (Brandon) Hrycuik and Jacob Son: Brant (Bev) Como Sisters, Armande Fauchoux and Aline Grimard And numerous nieces and nephews Omer was predeceased by his parents; brother Gerard Como; sisters Marie-Ange Mauvieux and Lucie deMontarnel; parents-in-law Sam and Ursule Boyer; brothers-in-law Victor Fauchoux, Louis Mauvieux, Gaston Grimard, Louis deMontarnel, Victor Boyer, Charles Boyer, Eugene Mauvieux, Louis Lanovaz, Eugene Lemauviel, Gerald Fisher, Edwyn DeBray, Oliver Boyer; and sisters-in-law Rolande Como, Julia Boyer, Lorraine Boyer, Denise Mauvieux, Lucille Lanovaz.
