Aunt Mary was very delightful and enjoyed people, always to encourage them through words and deeds. The ability to make little children feel special was one of her many gifts, for she is fondly remembered by one of our grandchildren whom she taught crokonole skills. She would share the great virtues of her family and we so enjoyed all the family news. Randy remembers the cheerful atmosphere and delicious Koffee Korner food and the intense game of Chicken Foot with Mary, Tena and Nettie in competition and the laughter of their delightful company. Playing ball or any sport was “a life experience” and not just casual passtime. The friendly smile and open arms to the surprise knock on her door made each visit to Aunt Mary’s house a welcoming, unforgettable joy. The guest would often leave with one of her handmade gifts. Aunt Mary will be missed and her memory treasured. We do want you to know that we are remembering you her dear family each one at this sad time of your loss. Evelyn

Mary was my childhood friend from Hepburn at Steel school. I have a fond memory of us going together to church with Susie Guenter. I also have a fond memory of Mary and I in the dugout in Guenters dougout! I moved to Ontario and I have great memories.

I have fond memories of Mary from my monthly visits as the Wellness Nurse at Hepburn. She was such a sweet lady, a real joy to know. My sympathy to her family at this time
