Obituary of Sarah Hamm

November 6, 1938 – June 4, 2021 Sarah Hamm, age 82 years, passed away on June 4, 2021, at Victoria Hospital, Prince Albert, SK. Sarah is survived by her: loving husband, Peter Hamm; children, Mary Ann (Steve) Frise; John (Mary); Jake (Susie); daughter-in-law Susan; Sarah (Jonah) Bueckert; Margaret (Phil) Friesen; Henry (Tina); David (Laurie); 60 grandchildren; 64 great grandchildren; three sisters, four brothers and in-laws; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sarah was predeceased by her: parents David C. and Susie (Buhler) Giesbrecht, son Abe, four brothers and one sister and in-laws. A come-and-go public viewing (please wear a mask and adhere to covid guidelines) will take place on Monday, June 7, 2021, from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Funk’s Funeral Chapel, 1010-7th St., Rosthern. The Funeral Service (church seating is for invited family only) will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Sommerfeld Mennonite Church, east of Hague, SK on Hague Ferry Road. Guests are welcome to remain in vehicles near church, to listen to the Funeral Service on FM Transmitter at FM 100.1. Interment will take place at Sommerfeld Cemetery.
