Rueben Wendland, age 77 years of Prince Albert, SK passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at his residence on April 28, 2014. Rueben is survived by: his wife Janet Wendland; his children Cheryl Wendland, Curtis (Alice) Wendland, Charlene (Paul) Roy; his grandchildren Katherine Roy and Mark Wendland; his sisters Grace (Gerald) Plett and Gloria Wendland; his brothers Wilf (Beate) Wendland, Hildor (Janet) Wendland, Leslie Wendland, Ben (Marilyn) Wendland, and Dan Wendland; and his brother-in-law Rupert (Bernice) Epp. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Mennonite Church, 250 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. I was saddened to hear of Reuben’s passing. I had the pleasure of visiting Rueben on several occasions over the past few years. I enjoyed our visits and he always had a bit of history to share with me. I will miss our visits and those interesting conversations. He was a good friend and a caring man. I wish to extend my condolences to the Wendland Family.
